JR600 is the latest generation of F1 hybrid seed-use pumpkin bred seed. The plant has strong growth, the pumpkin is thick barrel-shaped, the seeds are large, and the marketability is excellent. It is an ideal raw material in the market for roasted seeds and nuts.

Suitable areas:

Gansu, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia China (≥10℃ effective temperature of 2300℃ areas for planting confectionary sunflower planting areas, and the growing period is about 115 days.)

Recommended cultivation measures:

1. Sowing date: Each region should plant reasonably according to the local climatic conditions. April 20th to May 10th is suitable for sowing. In order to avoid high temperature pollen death and low seed production of gourds during the flowering period, it is recommended to sow them early at the right time.

2. Fertilization: Apply 375kg of diamine phosphate and 150kg of potassium phosphate per hectare as base fertilizer. Combined with cultivating and watering, apply 300kg of urea or 225kg of compound fertilizer per hectare.

3. Preserve 30,000-33,000 seedlings per hectuare. It is recommended to plant with ridges and mulching to achieve the effect of watering in droughts and draining in floods. Pay attention to insect control after sowing and check seedlings in time.

4. Foliar fertilizer can be sprayed appropriately, once at 4 leaves &1 center and after the pumpkin is firmly established, which can significantly increase yield.

5. During the flowering period, in places with few bee sources, special attention should be paid to artificial pollination, otherwise the yield will be significantly reduced.

6. Harvest at the right time. After the pumpkin skin turns white and hard, separate the pumpkins from the vines to prevent nutrient backflow. Take the seeds after 7-10 days of post-ripening.
